Parents, rowers, and friends of Navy Women’s Crew – The coaching staff would like to welcome you to the start of the spring racing season. After the success the team enjoyed in the spring and fall of 2007, the excitement mounts as the women gear up for another spring on the water.
We begin the season with a large and talented group returning to the Varsity Squad. This year’s team is led by it’s Seniors - 1/C Sarah Atwell (Wyomissing, PA), Team Manager 1/C Beth-Ann Dick (Springfield, VA), 1/C Caroline Mayer (Racine, WI), 1/C Catherine Ortman (Moline, IL), 1/C Sarah Roberts (Findlay, OH), and Team Captain 1/C Fiona McFarland (Southhampton, NY).
This year’s returning letter winners are 2/C Gretchen Driessnack (Loveitsville, VA), 2/C Kerry Hannon (Bethesda, MD), 3/C Kristin Lyles (Fairfax Station, VA), 3/C Johanna Mahoney (Seattle, WA), and 3/C Meredith Meehan (Glenshaw, PA).
